| OUR
OBJECTIVES |

To encourage amateur radio operators to participate fully in the
advancement, practice and
promotion of amateur radio, within the communities of the North Shore.
To provide the North Shore Emergency Management Office, or its
successor, with Amateur Radio
communications, in times of emergencies.
To attract newcomers to amateur radio and provide training so as to
license them as Amateur
Radio operators, in accordance with federal regulations.
To develop, install and maintain radio equipment and infrastructure
so as to provide radio
communication networks in support of emergency communications.
To provide training to Amateur Radio licensees in the operation of
radio equipment, infrastructure
and emergency communications procedures.
To provide physical and intellectual resources to advance the
overall technical and operational
skills of Amateur Radio operators.
To participate in community events by providing radio communications
via amateur radio.
